Ooka had a terrible accident that turned him from Man into Fake Ape but like Swamp Thing, he is still very much alive. At first, Ooka delighted nations and ladies, but rejection by Man and Gorilla females eventually drove him to a mad and hateful destruction.

He's clumsy and stupid. A monster, neither Man nor Beast, Ooka has no place in our world and he knows it. If you encounter Ooka proceed with extreme caution, but please try to remember that a tender soul may still reside within.
